My story? Well, here’s some beans I promised papa I’d never spill. It all started when I clawed my way out of my mother and felt the desperate need to get my hands on a camera as quickly as I could. Too bad that was in 1911 and cameras were new and all the rage. I needed to set myself apart from the crowd so I quickly built a time machine, left before the great war hit, and lo and behold I wound up here, a mid-20’s filmmaker in Melbourne, with nothing to say and stories to tell. I was able to surround myself with likeminded individuals who were also keen to spout weird stuff and together we became more confident than we ever had any right to be. Not only is filmmaking a fun way to meet new people and stretch your creative and productive muscles, I find it to be an expensive, legal and violently strong addiction. I will never give it up and you can’t make me. I enjoy writing/directing but can also hold my own in more technical roles as director of photography, gaffer and editor.
